Here
you find my filing cabinet. Some teachers stuff
drawers; I stuff this website. Welcome to twelve
years of my thinking, designing, and assessing in the English Language Arts classroom,
ten at Piedmont Open Middle in Charlotte-Mecklenburg
Schools, a large urban district in North Carolina where
I taught all levels of eighth grade Language Arts, and
two at Mid-Carolina High School in Newberry County, a
much smaller rural district in South Carolina, where I
taught honors English 2 and regular English 4. Feel free to rifle through and, I hope, find some
inspiration. Many items are in Word 2003 files, so
you can download and modify them. True Type fonts
are imbedded, but if the documents look strange when you
open them, it may be that some of the formatting or
fonts did not come through.
