Fishy!
To
start the 2008-09 school year in English 2 and English
4, students followed a secret set of complex
instructions to create a three-dimensional fish which
they then decorated according to the literary motif of
the class. It was a great way to talk about
teamwork, set up groups and classroom procedures, access
background knowledge, and set the tone for the year.
