Scenes from Julius Caesar
To end
our unit with Julius Caesar and assess learning,
students rewrote significant scenes from the play into
contemporary American English and performed them up
front and center...most importantly, in togas.
From their productions, it was clear that students
understood both the language and Shakespeare's intent
and characterization in the play. They also liked
